The Homeless Initiative

Hi all! It's been a while since my last blog post, but as the weather breaks, the actual photography part picks up! I've been pretty busy with engagement photos and setting up the spring and summer time with weddings and all sorts of events. But there's one thing that's been on my mind ever since December 2014.

I have always had a "helping" spirit, especially for those who suffer through the misfortune of being homeless. Every day, when I get off the bus at 18th for my day job, there is a homeless man or woman sleeping or resting on the metal grate trying to stay warm. Every now and then I walk him over to the food cart in front of my building and get them some food and drink before I start my day. They always thank me and as I'm walking away, I can't help but think of how I could help more.

My hope is to start accepting these items as partial payment for my services. For graduating seniors (high school or collegiate) , a donation of 5 items gets you a 50% discount! Any end products (prints or downloads) would still be normal monetary price. If you wish to partake in this initiative, just state your intentions upon contacting. Required is a photo of objects being donated at a donation center or items being delivered at the scheduled shoot. If items are delivered at the shoot, you will be charged 100% during booking and reimbursed after the shoot. Below is a list of acceptable items:
